What this is
The Cloud Connector is an optional companion to Approval Studio. It watches a folder in your Dropbox and copies what you put there into your Approval Studio account as projects and asset versions. You need an account with both services to use it.
Your side
- Connect only accounts you are entitled to connect, and only put files in the folder that you have the right to upload.
- Keep your connection link private. Managing a connection requires signing in with the Approval Studio account that owns it.
- Don't try to disrupt the service or reach other customers' data.
Our side
- We access your Dropbox only through the Approval Studio app folder, and only to read files for delivery to your Approval Studio account.
- We do not keep copies of your files.
- We handle your data as described in the privacy notice.
Availability
The service is provided as is, without a guarantee of uptime or of delivery within any particular time. It depends on Dropbox and Approval Studio, and an outage or change at either can interrupt it. It is a convenience for getting files into Approval Studio — it is not a backup, an archive, or the system of record for your artwork.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the connector, including missed or delayed file delivery. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Ending it
Disconnect at any time from your connection page, or revoke access in Dropbox under Settings → Connected apps. We may suspend a connection that is being used abusively or that puts the service at risk.
Changes
These terms may be updated; the date above shows when. Continuing to use the connector after a change means accepting it.
